IE Code
- Request letter on the company letter head for issue of new IE Code
- DD for Rs.1,000/- in favour of “FTDO (Admn.), o/o the Jt.DGFT, Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad. Treasury Challan is also accepted (refer website for details)
- Duly filled IEC form available at DGFT website
- Each individual page must be signed by the applicant
- No column should be left blank. If a particular column is not relevant to the applicant or is “Nil”, same may be specified as “Not Applicable/Nil”
- Xerox copies of the supporting documents are required to be self attested
- One copy of the application must be submitted
- As mentioned in the form, the photograph which is attached should be Un-attested
- Banker’s Certificate indicating the name and designation of the bank officer
- Photograph on the banker’s certificate should be attested by the banker of the applicant
- Bank Certificate should be issued on the official letter head of the banker indicating the complete name and address of the firm
- Copy of PAN issued by Income Tax Authority duly attested by the applicant
- Two passport size photographs
- This is apart from the one used on Banker’s certificate (this should be attested by the banker) and the one used in IEC form (this should be unattested)
- All photographs should be identical
- Self addressed envelope (40×15 cms) duly affixing Rs.30/- postal stamp.
- Lease Deed or any Authenticated Address Proof
- In case of partnership firm,
- Registration Certificate for proof of date of formation of the firm
- Copy of notarized partnership deed
- In case of PVT.LTD & LTD.
- Details of Directors along with their signatures and Tel Nos.,etc.
- Copy of Indl. Licence
- Name Board Declaration may be given as under (preferably on Company Letter Head) –

- Submission of applications of IEC for scrutiny is between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm (on one board it was mentioned before 12.00 pm)
- Time for returning the scrutinized IEC applications is between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm
- For trade enquiries, PRO will be available between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm

Dissolution of Firm
- Give advertisement in any local newspaper informing about dissolution of the firm
- Take this paper cutting and hand it over to the Goverment Printing Press (In Hyderabad, this is near Chanchalguda jail). This gets printed in the local gazette after 1 week to 10 days.
- Next, a dissolution deed has to prepared on stamp paper worth Rs.500/-
- Finally, the following documents have to be submitted to the Registrar of Firms for dissolution of the firm:
- Firm Registration Certificate
- Dissolution Deed
- Form V (generally available near the Registrar Office)
- Partnership Deed (not sure if this is needed)
- Proof that information about dissolution of firm is published in local gazette (not sure if this is needed)
